My name is Rebecca Beard, and I own a company called Niceville Tutoring. I launched it myself at age 31 after tutoring for years and teaching for 5 years in the classroom.
No loans — I bootstrapped my way to grossing $700k in Revenue in 2026 and now hitting $90k months. I still tutor and staff my team with tons of clients, without spending a lot on paid ads.
Most importantly, I am a mom of three girls, and I get to spend more time with them now because of this career change.

I have over 65+ tutors who work for me. I have written this in a way based on teachers' pain points when they tried to tutor on their own.
This is a video course filmed by a teacher, for teachers.
It provides simple, practical tips, including how to research pricing and how to post on social media that no one else is teaching.

Like many educators, I started tutoring with no idea how to find clients—even though I knew I was a great teacher. Marketing isn’t something they teach in the College of Education, so I had to learn it on my own.
I began studying and focusing heavily on organic (free) marketing. A few simple shifts in how I showed up on social media, how I talked to parents, and how I asked for referrals made a huge difference.
Today, these are the same strategies I use to run a 60+ tutor team in a small town, not a major city. I didn’t turn on paid ads until I had nearly 20 teachers on payroll.
If this worked for me—someone with a degree in Science Education, not marketing—it can work for you too.

I understand. I am some random person you met on the internet. Yes, I am real. This is my business below:

Do I need to constantly post on Facebook?
No, absolutely not. My strategies really only take showing up on social media a few times a week. I didn't start sharing daily till I had a team.
My area already has tons of tutors.
Great! That means there is demand there. The beauty when you charge your true value, a few students a week can have massive impacts on your finances.
P.S. Mine does to with private tutors, Sylvan, and Mathasium.
What if I am a brand-new teacher?
I only have 5 years of classroom experience & I tutored right out of college. Parents care more about what value you bring, not years of experience.
